Sim card FAQs

- What operator do we use? 

Tele2 

- What technology are our SIM cards using?  

IoT, 2G/3G/4G/LTE  are all supported.  

 

- Is our coverage country/region specific?  

No, our coverage is global (roaming) 

 

- How do I order SIM cards?  

- Submitting your request via GreenFlux Support Portal form (requires registered Account login)

 

- How long does it take before receiving a SIM card order? 

If the SIM cards are sent domestically, it will take up to 10 business days. We can process it quicker in case of an escalation. In that case the clients must align with their CSM. 

For sending SIM cards abroad it will take an additional 10 business days (4 weeks in total). We can speed up this process to either escalating this through a CSM or using express mail at additional costs. 

 

- How do I activate my SIM cards once thy have arrived? 

SIM Cards are pre-activated upon arrival.   

 

- How will we know which SIM cards belong to which customer? 

At the moment SIM cards are shipped, the ICCID's will be assigned in Jasper (Tele2 admin portal) to the corresponding account of the client who placed the order. 

 

- What is the datacom subscription per charge station:  

We have two variants: 

  • 8MB / month average data: for AC charge stations. 

  • 40 MB / month average data: for DC charge stations.


- Can changes be performed on sim card administration, status or ownership after delivery?

It is possible to modify certain aspects of a sim card upon request. For instance should the sim card require to be de-activated or specified to be used for testing as well as momentarily switching the communication plan or the client who owns this sim card. All these may be performed on request to Greenflux's support team

- Is it essential to use a GreenFlux-provided sim card to connect a charge point to the back office?

As long as the charge point ID is added in the Greenflux back-end, any sim card can be used for connection. The only variance in this case would be our ability to manage the and view the sim card itself, since clients would have to reach out to the vendor directly should any issue arise.
